The charts below give the information about levels of education in Glasgow, a city of Scotland, in 2010
The mixed chart illustrates the percentage of people in ages and the percentage of individuals by gender which were arranged by age and gender in education levels, namely university degree, school certificate and without qualifications.
In general, what stands out from the chart is people who were above 75 years old registered the highest proportion. It is also clear that the percentage of both men and women who got school certificate were the same.
In the first chart, the percentage of people who got the university degree in the 16-24 years old group equalled that of in the 35-40 years old group, at 71%. In the meantime, the percentage of people who do not have qualifications in the age group of 75+ was fifth as low as those of the others, 3% compared to at least 15% .
In the second chart, it is obvious to observe that the percentage of women and men who got the school qualification were the same, at 33%. Meanwhile, the figure for the university degree in women was lower than that of men, 29% compared with 32%.
