The charts below show the percentage of coffee production from different regions of consumption in different regions and of the profits in different fields in 2014

The pie chart below compare the proportion of coffee production and consumption of different areas, and the profit allocation condition of coffee industry in the year of 2014.

South America and Europe occupied the most proportions of coffee production and coffee consumption respectively. And the shippers gained the most profit.

South America produced 46% of coffee of the whole world, while the figures of Central America, Africa and Asia were19%, 18%, 16% respectively. Europe, USA and Japan were the top three highest districts of coffee consumption, making up 73% of the world coffee consumption. Other countries only accounted for 27%.

The profit of coffee industry distributed very unequally. The shippers owned 55% profit, more than half of the total profit. And the retailers attained 25%. However, the producers and the exporters could only obtain 10% of the whole profit respectively.
