It is clear that in the industrialized world and with the appearance of modern technology, the percentage of unemployment in Ireland decrease over the 20-year period. In term of the population in this country, 70000 was by far the highest number of resident leaving in Ireland.
First and formost, the unemployment rate in 1988 were approximately 18% and it reduced slightly during the next 12 years, with about 5%. From 1990 to 2000, this rate dramatic decrease which reach a down peak with only under 6% of unemployment rate. By contrast, in the next eight-year period this statistics continue rose, with more than 5%.
Looking at the number of citizens leaving in the nation, in 1988 about 40000 people lived in Ireland and by 1990 the population had increase considerably to just over 20000 person. However, following the next 18 years the data reduced with only over 40000 Ireland's resident in 2008
