The charts show average levels of participation and the highest education level of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore.
The charts indicate the norm pitch of participation in education, and the highest education magnitude of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore.
The bar chart simplifies the significant rise in years spent at school for the adult males, while the steadiness, or the very insignificant one for the adult females. However, the two pie charts trace education volume over the same time, using different colours and fractions that represent different categories of qualifications.
By checking the bars vertically; the blue for the adult males and the orange for the adult females, it’s plain to see that the average of years attended at school for both men and women started approximately the same in 2000. It kept the general run till 2004. Then, by 2008, it’s started to go upward for men, while roughly for women. In 2010, men surpassed women at education. Unfortunately, adult females didn’t go that far at schools.
Apparently, the increase wasn’t only in the years spent at school, it was also in the quality of qualifications. The qualifications attained have been intensified. The majority in 2010, represented by the grey colour (over thirty), used to just finish the high school. While earning a master’s degree was seldom, figured by a tiny fraction (7%). In 2010, the measure of master qualification got the utmost scale, almost got tripled, coloured with the navy blue. Definitely, the awareness of better education grew higher over years.
