The given pictures illustrate how sugar is produced from sugar cane.
In general, this manufacturing process consists of 7 distinct steps, beginning with the growing of sugar canes and ending with the production of sugar.
At the beginning of this process, sugar canes are planted and it takes them 12 to 18 months to become mature ones. The next stage is that those sugar canes are harvested by either tractors or farmers. After that, those harvested sugar canes are put into a machine by which they are crushed to extract the juice. At this point, this juice is purified by a limestone filter, ready for the following stage.
The next stage starts when the purified juice is heated in an evaporator in order to become a syrup. Once this step has finished, the syrup is then poured into a centrifuge where the sugar crystals are separated from it. Coming to the final step of this process is that these sugar crystals are dried and cooled, and sugar is the final production of this stage.
