The graph illustrates the trend of acid level in mouth after eaten different types of sugar, which can be related to tooth decay.
Fruit sugar, cane sugar and honey have different trends, which is misured by pH level after eaten. As the graph shows, cane sugar trend is the worst one considering time in which pH is over 5.5. Moreover, after eaten cane sugar, acid level at which tooth decay is unlikely is reached after 30 minutes. On the other hand, fruit sugar and honey return faster at safe acid level.
On the whole, the three lines have in common the same trend: they reach the lowest level after 5 minutes, after that they increase slightly. Equally, after 40 minutes, they arrive at the same acid level. The difference is in the time of increased: cane sugar is the lowest and it has the lowest value of pH, honey is the faster and has the highest level of pH.
