The following bar chart shows the different modes of transport used to travel to and from work in one European city in 1960, 1980 and 2000.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart provides an information about the different methods of transport used by the European workers in one city in 1960, 1980 and 2000.

Overall, It is viewed that, in 2000, the highest percentage of people used car than rest of other modes. Whereas, majority of people used bus in 1980 but in 1960, most of the people are pedestrian.

To begin, in 1960, the proportion of bus travelers stood at 18% and reached to a peak around 25% in 1980. After that, there a extreme decline in 2000. Approximately, 5% people travel through car for work in 1960. And this number significantly increased to 35% in 2000. on the contrary, around 25% people used motorcycle in 1960 which was regarded as the highest percentage. Then, the percentage of bike travelers consistently decreased till 2000.

Similarly, people who travel by foot followed a same pattern as the bike travelers. In 1960, above 30% of travelers travel by foot to their work but the number of people followed a decreasing pattern in 1980 and 2000.
