The given line chart illustrates how masses in the United Kingdom spend their wealth on three different purposes: food, education and entertainment.
Overall, the most striking sign from the chart is that while the most income is spent on food by the poorest, the wealthiest choose entertainment purposes. Additionally, it is also noted that education witnesses a minor investment.
It is crystal clear that spending savings on food purposes occupies the highest percentage of the poorest with over 70%, however it decreases rapidly to roughly 40% for the middle class and approximately 20% to 30% when reaching the elite. By contrast, the impoverished spend the minimum money on education and entertainment activities with a similar 5%. Simultaneously a significant enhancement is recorded when these purposes come to the figure for normal people with about 15% to 25% and 30%, respectively, before making up about 20% for the rich.
On the other hand, the wealthiest show a different way of spending, about a third of their earning is spent on entertainment activities. Meanwhile, education and food are less invested with 15% to 20% for the former and 5% to 20% for the latter.
