the line graph illustrates the amount of carbon dioxide was generrated by individual in four different countries during the period of 40 years starting in 1976.
Overall, it is clear that, the CO2 emissions in Portug and Italy considerably increase throughout the period. In contrast, United Kingdom and Sweden experienced an decresea in the average carbon dioxide emissions.
As can be seen, people in Portug disposed the lowest carbon dioxide in 1967, about 0.7 metric tonnes. This figure went up significanlty to 4.8 metric tonnes in final year. The amount of carbon dioxide emissions in Italy showed the same trend with Portug, from approximately 4 metric tonnes in 1967, this figure then increased to nearly 8 metric tonnes in 2007.
By contrast, there was a gradually decreased during the period from 10.8 metric tonnes in 1967 to 8.3 metric tonnes in 2007. However, this figure still higher than figures in three others countries. In Sweden, average carbon dioxie showed a fluctuation, from 8.2 metric tonnes in 1967, this figure increased just above 10 metric tonnes in the next 10 years before dropping to 4.8 metric tonnes in the final year.
