The graph shows the changes of overweight rates in 9 different countries and also give prediction of 2020.
A glance at the line diagram provided compares the changes of overweight rates from 1970 to recent year, and also predicted about future year of 2020, of nine different nations.
Increasing from 45% in the year of 1972, in the USA, to 73% by 2019 and it is predicted up to 75% in the year of 2020. In stark contrast, Korea had no any proportion of overweight until the year of 1999, by the following year, this nation has mere 15% of overweight and reached at hardly 32% in the year of 2019, which is minimum value among all the given countries.
Moreover, the nations Canada and Spain had similar trend, however, after the 2009, Spain crossed the proportion of Canada and increased slightly through out the remaining years. Same trend also seem in Italy and France. Australia shows the gradually increasing trend in given all years. However in the year of 2010, it seemed slightly decreased but followed by year, it increased again. Also, in the future, it will show upward trend and will pick around 42%. Similarly, England had also same trend but value of proportion is high as compared to Australia.
Overall, it can be seen that, Australia has highest percentage of overweight in the past as well as future, where as Korea has least proportion among all the countries through out the years.
