The graph shows Japanese average monthly salary (Yen) from 1953 to 1983, and the prices of black and white television and colour television during the same period.
Given is the graph illustrating the money which is paid per month between 1953 and 1983, and the cost of two types of television at the same time.
It is clear that the number of the salary followed a stable climb with slight acceleration from 1953 to 1983. By contrast, the line of two kinds of TV plummeted during the examined period.
To embark on, the appearance of colour TV was later and had a high cost of 100 thousand, but it experienced a slight lull to fewer than 50 thousand then until 1983. Likewise, standing at the highest point at 110 thousand in 1953, there was a rapid decrease of 110 thousands to 70 thousand before 1963. After that, the price of black and white TV continued to discount gradually to 20 thousand in 1983.
However, the salary was negatively correlated. Although there was a mere minority of the salary in the first year, it jumped further to over 30 yen after 1973. A notable fact is that the figure for this saw appreciable acceleration to nearly 70 yen after 30 years.
