Essay topics:

The line graph gives information about the number of Iranian, Greek and Turkish students who enrolled at Sheffield University between 2005 and 2009.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph illustrates how many students from Iranian, Greek and Turkish signed up for Sheffield University during a period of 4 years, from 2005 to 2009.
In general, the patterns of Iran and Turkey enrolling are quite similar, going up across the four years while the number of students from Greece tends to decrease significantly.
In 2005, there were few Iran and Turkey students enrolling at Sheffield University, about 40 and 20 students respectively. However, the period of four years witnessed a dramatic increase in the number of students from these two areas, which was four time more than the one in 2005. In contrast, the data on Greece students started at a relatively high number, 180 students in 2005, but then fell sharply. Although the drop was slower in 2007, in 2009, the figure of Greece students was just more than 40, the lowest data among three countries at that time.
To sum up, the graph highlights the difference trends in the number of students from Iranian, Greek and Turkish.
