Overall, in both age groups from 6 to 11 and from 12 to 16, football was attended with the highest percentage. By contrast, swimming was at the lowest percentage in 5 sports.
With boys from 6 to 11 years old, football accounted for 87%, the largest proportion in 5 items. Meanwhile, basketball and cricket made up more 30% with 35% and 45%, respectively. However, the statistics for rugby and swimming were just 23% and 19% respectively, a minor percentage.
With boys from 12 to 16 years old, the proportion of playing football was the same highest as age of 6 to 11, 78%. Meanwhile, basketball and cricket were joined with the reasonable percentage, 25% and 34%, respectively. The proportion of rugby and swimming that boys 12-16 engaged in were similar to age of 6 to 11, just lower than 2% and the same as 19%, respectively.
