The given pie charts well compare the percentage of students for each main reason in UK between 1987 and 2007. Overall, it is noticeable that the percentage of suitable degree courses, close to parental home, and quality of teaching experienced a decrease, whilst that of the other 2 reasons underwent a rise.

In detail, it can be explained that the percentage of suitable degree courses was considered the highest in 1987 and in 2007, or at 35% and 37% in respective; similarly, the percentage of close to parental home in 1987 increased by 12% in 2007, or at 22%. Meanwhile, the proportion of quality of teaching experienced a slight growth since this proportion rose from 15% at the beginning to 18% at the end. On the other hand, the figure of quality resources declined gently from 21% to 17% two decades later. Finally, of good sports and social activities, 19% dipped to only 6%.
