The chart illustrates the percentage of water utilized by six different regions(South America, Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia, North America and Europe) of the world for distinct purposes(Industrial use, Agricultural use, Domestic Use).
Water is used mostly for the Agricultural purpose in Central Asia(88%) and the least in the Europe(32%). Similarly for the Industrial use, Europe consumes the largest percentage of water(53%) and Central Asia uses the smallest(5%).
The third and the last purpose for which water is used is Domestic purpose for which South America uses the maximum amount of water(19%) and Central Asia and South East Asia both uses the minimum amount of water(7%).
Overall the six different regions of the world water is used mostly for Agricultural use in four regions(South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia) and only two regions used water for Industrial purpose the most(North America and Europe). While for Domestic purpose water is mostly used only by South America(19%).
