The table below gives information about rail transport in four countries in 2007.
A glimpse at the graph provided reveals a handful of figures pertaining to the railway systems constructed in four countries in the year of 2017. It is evident that some striking similarities were present in the relationship between frequency of usage and average length of expedition, as well as that with cargo capacity.
China witnessed the greatest number of passengers in 2017, with approximately 27 millions, excluding the users of metro system. The figure outperforms those in Malaysia, Canada and UAE, in which merely less than 6 millions citizens are using their railways. Noteworthy is the fact that the average distance travelled was likely to increase with total number of users. Numbering 1980km per users, China, moreover, saw the farest average distance of expedition, while some 80km was travelled individually with a considerably low of 0.3 million passengers in Canada. Moderate consumption was remarked in system established in both Malaysia and UAE.
With regard to cargo capacity, the figure was deemed inversely proportional to the passengers carried, while a slight fluctuation in terms of billions of tons, with low of 21.9 and highs of 28.2, was registered.
