The table gives information about the monthly household income in five different countries on food and drink, housing, clothing and entertainment.
Overall, all five countries spend most of their money on food and drinks also on housing, however the lower percentage of money were spent on clothing and entertainment.
The proportion of money spent on food and drinks were 36% and 31% in Turkey and Spain, respectively. There were the highest rates of spending on food and drinks. As for the share of housing, in Spain it was 18%, unlike the UK, which spent 37% on housing, this was the highest figure in the expenditure table.
Turning to five countries` expenditure on clothing and entertainment, the UK spent on both household needs 11% Spain spent 8% of money on clothes and 15% on entertainment. Likewise, the other two countries as France and Germany spent more money on entertainment rather than on clothes, by contrast, Turkey`s expenditure on clothing was 12% it higher than percentage of money spent on entertainment.
