The pie chart reveals the duration of several activities productive people in different countries spend per day between 1998 and 2009.
In general, most people in all countries consumed their time to eat and sleep, while the least time spent activity they did was doing personal care.
Most French, German, and Japanese spent 9 to 10 hours to sleep, while much less duration was seen for doing personal care which only lasted for no more than 2 hours. Meanwhile, the Japanese had 6.3 hours to do paid work and to study which was 2.4 hours longer compared to German and 2,1 hours longer French. Furthermore, Germans allocated the longest hour for leisure time with 3.1 hours.
British, American, and Turkish also allocated their longest duration spent for eating and sleeping, while time spent for leisure time was not more than an hour. Turkish had 40 minutes longer hours to do unpaid working compared to American and 10 minutes longer compared to British. The three countries' citizens spent the same amount of leisure time with 3.3 hours long.
