Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The maps illustrate some changes to road access to a city hospital over a period of 3 years.
Overall, the area experienced considerable changes during the period shown. The most noticeable differences between the two maps are the addition of two roundabouts and the separation of staff and public carpark.
As can be seen from the maps, from 2007 to 2010, the most striking intersection upgrade was the appearance of the two new roundabouts. The first one was constructed right in front of the hospital in Ring road. The second roundabout was added to the four-way intersection of City road and Hospital road.
During the same period, the six bus stops located along the Hospital road were removed to make way for a new bus station connected to the two roundabouts. The disappearance of the bus stops also gave room for the new staff carpark. Another noticeable change is the addition of the public carpark to the East of the hospital.
