The two maps illustrate the changes of a school campus from 1985 to 2012
The diagrams depict the transformation of a school campus during the period from 1985 to 2012.
Overall, it seems evident that the landscape in 2012 has more infrastructures than in 1985 due to the enormous increase in the number of students, from 1500 to 2300.
In 1985, The school campus has few structures. In the south of the campus, there was a huge playing field that dominated the entire area. Meanwhile, A big car park was linked to the playing field, which is next to an office building on the east side of the map. A library was located in the south of the office. On the west side, there was a 2 storeys classroom block, which was opposite a smaller car park.
By 2012, considerable changes had occurred on the campus as the number of buildings had increased. The smaller car park was demolished for trees and plants, while the library was converted to a computer room to store resources. Not only the bis car park was modernized to a semicircle shape, but also two buildings namely the swimming pool and fitness club were built on the east side of the playing field. Lastly, the number of classrooms was increased to 3, while the old one was refurbished into 3 storeys.
