When new towns are planned, it is more important to build more public parks or sports facilities than shopping centers for people to spend their free time. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Currently, there have been increasing number of new towns that are built with numbers of shopping centers. Therefore,it is said that building more public parks or sports facilities is more significant rather than building shopping centers for entertainment. Although the construction of parks and sports facilities plays great role in improving the health of people, I still believe that it is necessary to build some shopping malls to kill people’s time.
With varieties of parks and sports facilities built, people who usually go out will go to these areas frequently. This means people will have more opportunities to do more sports there, which helps them to keep fit. However, there are still a large number of places for people to improve their health, such as gym, where there are also many sports facilities and some professional coach to help you exercising scientifically.
Moreover, building shopping centers can increase the development of economic. Being attracted by all types of goods with good qualities and cheap price, more and more people, even the people who come from outside of the city will buy commodities there, causing significant growth in economic. In addition, when people spend their time in shopping malls, they will feel delightful and release their pressure. For example, there must be some entertainment areas such as theaters and game centers, which create a lot of fun especially for those people in a bad mood.
In conclusion,it is true that building parks and sports facilities can make people fit,but I tend to argue that it is a good idea to construct more shopping malls in new cities.
