Essay topics:

16/10/2017 You cannot pick your friend up at the airport. Write a letter to him/her. In your letter, you should
explain the reasons.
You should provide him/her with alternative ways to go to the hotel.
You should inform him/her of your plan.

Dear john,
I hope you are doing great. I want to inform you about my failure to receive you from airport. I wish i would be there to meet after a long time when you would be arrived at airport. However, because of some situations i am not able to come as we can not control circumstances and we have to adopt those contexts.

Actually, my paternal uncle got ill last night and we had to admit him in the city hospital nearby our village. I also had to arrange finance as we needed 3 lack rupees for his treatment urgently. Unfortunately, i was really helpless and doctors told us that he has a incurable heart disease and has to take medication for a long time. Therefore, due to this emergency i have to take care of him and i can not come to get you. I was really excited to meet you but it was really terrible situation for me and i was perplexed.

Anyways i will send my cousin to receive you as well as he has a new car which he just bought a few dats ago. Besides this, he knows you very well and often i tell him about you. So, it would not only be comfortable for you but also you can enjoy your trip on a brand new car.

I would meet you at hotel a day after tomorrow as until that my brother will come back home and there would be someone to look after my uncle.

I look forward to hearing from you back.

Yours faithfully,
Sarbjeet kaur
