A builder worked in your house a few weeks ago. You did not like the result of his work. Write a letter to him and say.
- Describe the work you wanted him to do.
- What is your complaint about his job?
- What do you expect him to do about it?
Dear Mr. Smith,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your work on my home ceiling that you claimed to accomplish few weeks ago, on Midland Street.
I was supposed to get my ceiling renovated, to get rid of the rain water leakage over the reception room. Unfortunately, that never happened.
I regret to inform you that your service was below my expectations. As after few days from completing your job, rain water started to come in again from the same old spots. In addition, some parts of the ceiling above the main bedroom are not well attached, hence, it produce noises whenever the wind below.
I believe this matter deserves your urgent attention and I hope you can settle it by coming back and re-fix the ceiling or make a refund with all the labor cost that you had charged me. Otherwise, I will file a complaint at the city builders union.
I look forward to hearing from you
Yours sincerely,
Jeaden
