City council is planning to pull down one of the historic buildings in your town, because they do not have funds to renovate it. As a citizen, you don’t want it to happen. Write a letter to the city council and say
– What is the importance of the building?
– Why should it be renovated?
– Suggest a plan to raise funds and maintain the building in the future.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm writing this letter in order to express my objection regarding your decision to demolish the Stark building. As we all aware this building has great history behind it which connect to city patriots who fought against rebel fighters. This building is an iconic monument in the city which attracted thousands of tourist throughout last decades where it helped our local businessmen to develop their businesses. In a way it has strenghten local economy. And also our children will looked upon this building and will be proud about their ancestors.
When considering the above facts, if you proceed with the decision take down the building it will be massivly impact on local business and job market. Majority of local community is depending on earnings throught this, such as hotels, restuarents, local hand crafts and ornaments, giuded tours. Therefore I believe council need to revoke the decision and take necessary actions to renovate this dilapidated building.
I would like to suggest arrange car wash program to raise funds to renovate the biulding during every weekend at Public Market parking area, due to almost everyone live in the suburbs is visiting the market from their private vehicle. We will be able to cover considerable amount of renovation cost from this as a startup, where we can expand this in future phases.
I really appreciate if the city council take my points into consideratin in order preserve this building for futhure genrations and thanking you for taking your valuble time to read this letter.
Your Faithfully,
Smith
