A friend from another country is moving to your city for work. He / she has asked you for advice about living in your city.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
suggest an interesting part of the city to live in
describe the public transport in your city
say how your friend can meet new people there
Hello James,
I hope you are doing good! It’s been ages we haven’t met, we have only met virtually on calls though.
When I received your mail last week, I got so excited to about your transfer here. Guess what! I’ve got a list of some amazing rentals near me. As you will be working in the city center, it is better to get one-bedroom apartments there because it has great numbers of Indian restaurants who have daily tiffin services too.
On top of it, It’ll be easy for you to commute to the office that will take only five-minute walking. There are a wealth of options for public transportation like trams, buses, subway, and cabs, but the cheapest and convenient one subway.
I know, you love to meet new people, and I have got a place for you near your residence. A newly renovated community center started a variety of classes for International workers and students for extra-curriculum activities like swimming, yoga, and English-spoken courses for free. I am sure, you would definitely join it.
Waiting to see you soon!
With love,
Apoorva
