Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter:
• thank them for the photos and for the holiday
• explain why you didn’t write earlier
• invite them to come and stay with you
Dear Dev,
I am writing to thank you for amazing photographs from our last trip to Canada which you sent me yesterday. Most importantly, I would like to thank you and your family for helping me out during entire trip and for my stay at your place. It was astonishing and memorable experience with you all.
I was thinking to write this letter on the same day when I arrived in my city, but due to unavoidable circumstances it didn’t happen. Because my mother was not doing well and she had high fever, unfortunately, I had to visit my parents on the same day. But, thanks to god that she is feeling better and recovering very well now.
I would like to invite you to visit my place this summer as I told you earlier as well. During this visit, you will stay at my home with me and crash on my sofa. In my city, there are many places and old monuments, in which you would be interested. Moreover, you will get a chance to explore sceneries and panoramic places where you can capture good photos with your camera.
I am waiting for response and confirmation on it, please respond as soon as possible so that I can make some arrangements in advance.
Thank you,
Ankur
