As part of a class assignment you have to write about the following topic.
In some countries children have very strict rules of behavior, in
other countries they are allowed to do almost anything they want.
To what extent should children have to follow rules?
You should write at least 250 words.
As everything has its limit so do have rules. Traditionally, rules were introduced with positive intention and were meant to favor the society. But in this contemporary world, there are still many countries which have imposed strict rules on children that they have tendency to take rules as restrictions
We must acknowledge that strict rules stop one to flourish. In some countries, I believe that there are some illogical and unbiased rules. For instance, female children are not allowed to go to schools for education or carry western attire. By following these rules, women don't feel independent and are most of the time being dominate by men in the society.
Nevertheless, there are certain countries which have imposed rules for the benefits of children only. These kind of rules make children well disciplined and obedient, that benefit them in long run. In particular, rules in schools by punishing the late comers, rules for exams and lectures are meant to teach the value of time.
Moreover, there are few safety rules that are being imposed on children. Driving age limit for children is one such rule. In order to create unbiased environment and smooth processing of any system it is essential that children should obey these rules and influence others as well.
In conclusion, I would say that children should have a tendency to realize the importance and purpose of rules and follow the rules that are made for their good only.
