Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to request you a refund for a lost item during my trip to California. The item that has been lost is a 160 canon camera, the latest model, in black color with a 2GB memory card. Please let me explain in detail.
My family and I embarked on a trip to California on 27 December 2018 on a weekend. We left on a Saturday morning to attend a Football Tournament held at Sports Stadium near the airport. I am positive that I took my camera with me to the event and I remember taking a lot of photographs in that location. However, I noticed that my camera had disappeared only after I reached my hotel. The next day, I contacted the receptionist of the stadium to inquire about my camera. Unfortunately, nothing was found in their "Lost and Found". Hence, I filled a police complaint regarding this.
Hopefully, my travel insurance would be able to cover the cost of my camera, as it is listed in the list of valuable items. I, hereby, enclose my insurance statements, police report and the receipt of my camera for your kind consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Abarna.
