You have recently changed your job and started working for a new company.
Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter:
explain why you changed your previous job
describe your new job
tell him/her your other news
Dear Sally,
Hope this finds you and your family well. It has been ages since we last wrote each other. I’m writhing to let you know about my new job.
I changed my job because my previous office was located outside the city and it took almost two hours to reach. To be honest, I was completely burned out because I’ve to work long hours to complete office work and the salary was not great accordingly.
Basically, I applied for new job in a multinational job that was looking for admin staff for its city centre branch. Luckily, I was selected for this job. I’m quite happy since the working conditions and the pay is better now, and I don’t need to drive to work anymore.
Well, I’m excited to share other news that I recently bought a new house. Why don’t you pop around and have a look at it? Perhaps, we could have lunch together at my new house. Let me know when to expect you.
Wait to see you soon.
Love,
Sara
