Essay topics:

You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
• describe the situation
• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to draw your kind attention towards the hindrances faced by me. My roommate whom I share the room with creates lots of issues and the current circumstances has become unbearable for me at present.

I am fed up with my roommate habits and his unplanned motive of calling up his friends late in the night. My exams area approaching in the next few weeks and it would be really difficult for me to study to score good marks in the exams.

I would like to have one separate single room where I can prepare for my exams without any disturbance. I would be greatful to you if you can help me get rid of this obstacle and finding a quiet and calm room for my studies.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,
