You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
• describe the situation
• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing this letter as I am dissatisfied with the room provided to me. (Room No. 402) & with my roommate.
Unfortunately , the Air conditioning & plumbing of the room is defaulted and hence there is a constant distress over these things. On the other hand, My roommate is an extremely social person , who likes to invite people over to our room way past the visiting hours & also enjoys throwing parties which involves lot of people and loud music. This is creating an obstruction for my studies as well as my sleep patterns are being disrupted.
I would highly appreciate it, if you could provide me with a single person room as I would like to have a quiet place to concentrate on my approaching exams. I would prefer to have the room for myself and I am willing to pay the extra fees which a single room calls for.
Your assistance & action in this matter would be highly appreciated.
Yours Faithfully,
Malita Dsouza.
