You received a letter from your friend informing you about his elderly parents are coming to visit in your area and he is asking for your advise on
- which places they should visit
- where should they live
- Invite them to do something with you
Hi Hyunah!
Thanks for your email.
I am excited that your parents are coming to visit my town. I know they must be equally glad they can make it here finally as they had to put it off last time.
Well, as you already know, my hometown Janakpur Dham is famous for beautiful temples. There are hardly any street where you will not find a holy shrine and I would like to recommend one well known Janaki temple. I guess you must have heard about it from TV documentaries. It attracts a lot of tourists every year. Luckily, there will be a very special ceremony to mark the 100 years of its establishment and they can be sure of having a great time.
As for accommodation, I wish they could stay at my own house. My parents, as you know, are quite welcoming and they will find themselves lucky to have them here and to share their stories with eachother. We have a young boy who helps in the kitchen so eating will not be a problem either.
I would like to treat them on a dinner outside in a restaurant which serves some really yummy local food. If they won't mind I am also planning to take them to boating on a lake.
I hope you would like my idea. Let me know if you think I can do something differently or recommend a better place to put in.
I can't wait to see them.
take Care!
Yours,
Ram
