Your photograph has won the first prize in the photography competition.
This will be displayed in an exhibition. Write a letter inviting your friend at the exhibition and include:
1) What was the photograph about?
2) Where did you take it?
3) What prize have you won?
Dear Igor,
I hope the letter reaches you in the best of health. I am elated and couldn’t control my feelings and as such decided to inform you about a big achievement. Allow me to elaborate.
I am sure you are aware of my love towards photography. Even though, you have many a time cautioned me to take calculative risks but sometimes I go recklessly in pursuit of an excellent picture. But, you will be ecstatic to know that my habit of recklessness has paid off as my photo of a mother bison along with her newborn baby has been awarded the best photograph for 2018 Wildlife Photography Award and will be showcased in the Louvre Museum in November 2018. The organizers have given me a ticket extra to bring along anyone and I want you to come with me.
Further, I would like to inform you that it is a big feat for me as the first time ever in the history of these awards a photo taken on African Continent has won. Moreover, I would like to tell you that I had taken the picture at Kilimanjaro National Park in Tanzania in the summer of 2018.
I am aware that you would be desperately waiting to know the prize involved. However, you will be surprised to know that I will be awarded a trophy and certificate of appreciation.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Brad Jason
