Recent figures show an increase in violent crime among youngsters under the age of 18. Some psychologists claim that the basic reason for this is that children these days are not getting the social and emotional learning they need from parents and teachers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Currently a lot of people are being aware of the fact that recent figures shows a massive increase in violent crime among youngsters under the age of 18 while some experts in the psychology field claim that the main reason for this is that children these days are not getting the social and emotional learning they need from both parents and teachers,
I acknowledge the opinion of the people who think it is not the fault of lack in emotional and social learning and think it is the fault of socioeconomics conditions exposure to violence in mainstream media and finely community influences nowadays the youth gets exposed to violent media since the moment they are born influencing the negatively making them think and brainwashing them into believe that harming others like their classmates and colleagues making it hard for them to even recognize a mistake one thy do one the other reason for this is the community and environment the most to blame because in every place there is bad people who encourage bad and obnoxious habits to the point that they form circles to spread it even more implanting the idea that forces corruption into the brains of youngsters and isolating the weak making instable and emotionally vulnerable to cause harm to himself and others,
I agree with the psychologists who say that the basic reason for the increase in violent crime rates is caused by low education in the social and emotional departments making the youngsters vulnerable in that area and unable to control themselves from outsider elements like bullying and verbal abuse making them unwantingly resort to violence and physical harming,
The youth are mostly unstable so we should take better care of them and focus on their education more
