Some countries import a large amount of food from other parts of the world. To what extent is this a positive or negative trend?
There is no doubt that other countries import a considerable amount of food into their countries nowadays. This is primarily because of globalization. This is both a positive and a negative development. However, in this essay, I will describe how it has become simple to consume a wide range of unusual foods, while the chemicals employed for preservation can be detrimental to people.
To begin with, there are numerous reasons why food is imported from foreign countries. The top-specific reason is that consumers can access a wide selection of foreign delicacies in their native country without having to travel to a certain city. Furthermore, because countries cannot produce all foods, they import food from other countries. Kiwi and dragon fruit, for instance, are not available in India. Therefore , consumers in India can purchase foreign goods. Furthermore, communities that export to other countries can benefit financially. According to a Times of India survey, Asia's economy is partially dependent on grain production.
On the other hand, one obvious explanation for its negative development is that individuals enjoy foreign things that are damaging to their health. Firstly , it takes too long to import food from one country to another, which is why they employ so many preservative chemicals to keep unhealthy food fresh. It has negative health consequences, such as cancer and liver disorders. Furthermore, it is bad for the local market because, as of now, people prefer to buy foreign items rather than native ones.
In conclusion, some countries export goods and services to other regions of the world. That is both a good and a terrible tendency. On the one hand, it is beneficial to the customer's taste. It does, however, contain compounds that are toxic to humans.
