Some people think that it is more effective for students to study in a group, while others believe that it is better to study alone. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
In the competitive educational system, the optimal studying approach is prioritized by any pupil to accelerate their progress. Therefore, it is debatable whether teamwork or solitary learning can produce the best possible results. This essay will address both perspectives accompanied by my viewpoint on the matter.
On the one hand, collaborating with other fellow beings can present several justifiable advantages. To commence with, through the discussion about the predicaments encountered in studies, students can figure out the solution more efficaciously and rapidly. For instance, if a collection of learners gather to resolve different parts of a mathematical problem, each individual’s discovery can facilitate earlier finishing. Subsequently, they can also exchange their understandings to enhance their knowledge about the exercise, which reduces the duration and effort required. Another benefit is that through communication, students can excite the frequently monotonous experience of studying, thus generating more motivation to advance. This is particularly true for language learners who are struggling with speaking as they can remove the boredom and frustration when they have a partner to converse with in the foreign language. Moreover, the team creates an environment where students are constantly encouraged since they have to maintain their progression with other members.
On the other hand, several learners can benefit from improving academic performance by themselves. Firstly, if the collection is unorganized and distracted, it will render the study group time-consuming and useless. For example, teenagers today usually gather at the cafe to learn together but most often they immerse themselves in the casual confabulation without making any progress towards ambition. Secondly, as the pace of development between students is different, studying alone allows them to realize and accommodate their necessities. When a student is superior in one subject to others, it will be beneficial for him to focus on advanced knowledge instead of practicing the standard curriculum with others. Furthermore, not every learner’s character is suitable for cooperation, they may develop themselves through self-reflection or self-reliance and concentrate better when working on their own.
In conclusion, depending on the condition and personality of the students, they can vary flexibly between studying collectively or individually as both methods can have a positive influence on their studies.
