using the social network as a learning instruction in the middle of pandemic
Nowadays, most of the learning activities are carrying out via the Internet since the broken out of the pandemic. Using the online software or the social network, particularly is Facebook, as an instruction may bring both advantages and disadvantages.
Firstly, considering the pros of using Facebook as an educational instruction. We cannot deny that Facebook is one of the most popular social networks in the world. Therefore, we can take advantage of it to impart the lesson of study to the students effectively. The lecture could convey the instructions or the assignments to their students immediately via using Facebook. Moreover, Facebook would be a wonderful assistant for the connection between the lectures and their students. Besides, Facebook permits the accounters to gather a group of members to message or video call to catch up on the latest lessons.
Nevertheless, Facebook is a social network, so it exists some of the cons if we suppose it as an educational instruction. The main property of Facebook is the connection, it is used for making friends and updating their sharing. If we use Facebook to impart the lesson would not be miraculous as the other software like Zoom. On Facebook, the lecture could gather a group of members, but the number of them is limited; on Zoom, they can meet face-to-face with among 100+ students at once. Moreover, the lecture even could check the attendance easier if they use Zoom, this activity seems to be more difficult to handle on Facebook. As a result, we could use Facebook only to keep in touch with the lecture or to discuss the lesson with others, not use for learning face-to-face.
In conclusion, we cannot avoid using social network like Facebook to apply for studying in the middle of the pandemic as today. All of us can familiarize ourselves to study effectively, no matter the software is good or bad, the matter is the way we use it and our awareness about self-study.
