To improve the quality of education, universities should spend more money on salaries for university professors.
Quality of an education that studednt receive and the professors inculcate by betowing to students depend upon several aspects of university life. In real life people can see several ways to improve education quality like by providing high salary to professors amongst many, however I do not agree with those stake-holders or university administration who keep this way of increasing salary due to numerous reasons. Few of those reasons are mentioned below.
For the first reason, the fund of an univerity is not always a strong logic which are meant for satiating professors with salary. We all know that in every cases money is not a panacea or a mediccatin of core problem. We also know that ubiquitous corrruption is burgeoning day by day and it has rendered society to delapidate its status. For example, in case of my country where there are relatively few research activities conducts even in PhD program, the increment of profssor's salary last year had significant injurious effect on university education system. Professors started taking leaves, making no appearance and no attendance at college. And after several months student union collectively published a notice admonishing the administration to revert the decision back. So what we can analyse from this situation is we must not focus only on one pervasively negative aspect with intention to improve academics. Isn't the management committe contemplate over the topic of providing salary just to increase the quality of education system?
For the second reason, universities must not squander their liquid resource in frivolous manner, as the sole salary can not guarantee an exquisite and majestic education system. The nearby society or the whole country will be benefitted with ne technology if the money they have is utilized in research purposes. For instance, trivial amount of research budgets was allocated in our country last year increasing the professors salary at the same time. Students pursuing their post graduate program as well as PhD program were not able to find research inputs like master mixes, markers and primers for PCR. The finding of such researches is going to be fruitful for the university though, administration didn't provided fund for research individual; they were compelled to buy such expensive chemicals by their own money. Isn't it a contentious matter for the university and society.
However, in few instance the salary could be a motivation to the the professor if salary is low observing the expensive country market.
In sum, in order to have a tremensous positive effect in academics and increasing education system of the country the university must not allocate most of it fund for providing salary to professors,
