assemble a group of people into a team
The article states that the best way to approach certain new projects is to assemble a group of people into a team and provide some reasons of support. However, the professor refutes each of the author's reasons.
First, the reading claims that having a team offers several advantages such as : a wider range of knowledge, expertise, and skills than any single individual. The professor refutes this point by stating that in real life people in a team have a free ride and do not contribute to the project. When project finished in its great way, there is no different between those who worked hard and those who did not.
Second, the article posists that becuse of the numbers of poeple who involved in projects, a group can work more quickly. However, the professor says that reaching consonance is too difficult and making decisions take too much time duo to several meetings that people in a team manage.
Third, the reading averts that the individual team member has a mich better chance to shine. However, the professer opposes this point by saying that some people have more influences in a team and make more decisions for the project and when the project failed not only they do not shine but also a blame comes to all members of the team.
