TPO24 Integrated Writing
The reading passage and lecture are both about the pros and cons of study the real animal tissues of archaic animals. The article strongly postulates that a 70-million-year-old artefact of T.rex' living tissues have substituted by minerals and it might still contain the relic of the actual tissues of the animal. On the other hand, the listening adamantly delineates that this remain shows baseless information for several compelling reasons.
First and foremost, According to the author of the excerpt that shattering of the leg bone exposed that many small channels inside and it aligns with hollows in the bones where blood vessels were once placed. Furthermore, it is surprisingly elastic and flexible compared to others. Nonetheless, the professor offsets these points by declaring that in the channels it is potential to flourish bacteria colonies and they merge with hollows to create non-organic material.
On top of this, the professor elaborates by bringing up the point that the archaeologists haven't found any same red blood cells from other animals which are same characteristics as both primitive and found a site so this evidence is likely to be reddish minerals. these claims refute the author's implications about inner bones have the presence of a realm that could be a relic of red blood cell which conveys oxygen to other cells.
The text lastly insists that dinosaur leg bone has contained collagen which essential elements of life and the researchers hope that it might contain in bone tissue. The speaker in the lecture counter these indications by asserting that older than 1000 years fossil hasn't been found any collagen so it is impossible to endure 70-million-year. Moreover, the collagen can exist only in human skin so it may be the researcher's collagen who brings bone.
