Writing Task1 Cambridge10 Test1 (Pie chart)

The pie charts illustrate the percentage of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, which utilise for six purposes such as water heating, heating, cooling, lighting, refrigeration, and other appliances by Australian household.

It is clear that heating account for the largest proportion of the energy use while Australian household save energy on lighting. On the other hand, water heating makes up the biggest proportion of the greenhouse gas emissions, but they seldom use power in cooling.

The first chart shows that there is a significant figure for heating and water heating, just over two-fifths and almost a third respectively. By contrast, the energy for cooling is 40% far from the most important purpose.

Turning to the second char, we can see that greenhouse gas emissioms contribute the largest demand, namely water heating(32%),which is 4% higher than other appliances. On the other hand, the least energy is cooling, merely 3%,which is 1% higher than power used in household.
