The first chart below shows how energy is used in an average Australian household. The second paragraph shows the green house gas emission which result from this energy use
The pie charts illustrate the proportions of Australian household energy consumption and those of greenhouse gas exhaust.
The amount of gas exhaust is almost corresponded with types of energy consumption. In addition, Australian citizens spend most their energy on heating while much of gas emission was generated by water heating.
As is observed, the energy utilised for heating occupies 42%, which is almost as twice as its greenhouse exhaust (15%). In contrast, similarity can be witnessed in those of water heating, with 30% of energy use and 32% of gas emission.
Likewise, energy consumed for refrigeration is insignificant low at 7%, which is as half as the figure for gas exhaust. Moreover, Australian citizens use the minority of their energy for cooling and lightning and consequently they generate small amounts of gas exhaust which contribute 3% and 8% respectively
