It has been a era of rapid globalization. Few decades ago, it was believed that “women are better off in the houseâ€. Although torn by the modern economics women have now moved their footsteps into the professional world as well. The step taken by the women have helped in upbringing the financial stability of the family but all the steps taken to replace the proverbial mother are destined to be futile.
Firstly, women stepping out into the professional world has raised the per capita income of the family leading to the raise in the fiscal savings as well. Also, it has led the lives of family members including children even more luxurious and comfortable. Moreover it has lead to physiological and psychological development of the women making them a more of a social person. Now women have started to be equally productive as that of men in the field.
Despite innumerable advantages there has not been any effort made to find a biological or social replacement to the mother. Parents including father still upholds a significant position in upbringing of a young one imparting them with social, moral and mental support to help them to survive in this world which aims at “ survival of the fittestâ€. Also the materialistic needs being satisfied by the money cannot outweigh the importance of time devotion by parents to their kids.
Overall, parents specially mother plays a vital role in upbringing a child. Alhough they have to keep in pace with this fast moving world as well. Even they equally hold a responsibility to support their kids financially as well. In my opinion, a balance need to be accomplished between the two duties as both them have equal significance in the life of young one as well as parents.
