It is clear that the rate of people spending their time in to borrow or return book was highest over the period shown. Overall, it is noticeable that for the percentage of obtaining information in 2000 was double the figure for 1991.
The figures for people who visited the public library in order to borrow or return books and read newspapers or magazines tend to be fairly similar fell by 10% from 1991 to 2000. However, in 2000, the rate of British people studying at the public library dramatically dropped to 2%.
On the other hand, the percentage of people obtained information in 2000 at the library was twice times as popular as that of those in 1991. At that time, there was a new category borrow or return video in the chart which accounted for 18%.
