Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter:
• thank them for the photos and for the holiday
• explain why you didn't write earlier
• invite them to come and stay with you.
Dear Amar and Shubh,
I hope this letter finds you and your family well. I am writing to let you guys know that I have received the photographs of our London trip and they are simply gracious. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank both of you for the extraordinary clicks and the splendid moments spent together during the trip.
Let me explain you guys why I could not manage to communicate earlier on this. I had been thinking to write about my memorable experience since my return, however, there had been a huge amount of work piled up at office which took considerable time in putting a finishing touch. I also expect to get released from my current project in six weeks of time.
Seizing this opportunity, I would like to invite both of you to visit Mumbai and be my guest. Choice of places to visit along with complete itinerary planning should be my headache. Taking into consideration the expected weather changes, do carry warm clothes if you plan to travel beyond ten weeks from now.
I would look forward to hearing from you soon and spend excellent time together.
Warm Wishes
Mohit
