As can be seen the line graph displays the trend regarding the correlation between age and the amount of criminality in the UK at 20002, while illustrating the proportion of different offence in the UK are showed as the pie chart.
It can be seen there is a noticeable high point peaked on the trend of the offences at the adolescence period among the age ranks in 2002. Besides, it could be classified all the inmates into 4 types by different convictions.
In 2002, the criminality began showing up at the age of 8 and headed through an upward trend immediately to 70% at the age of 16. The conviction rate climbed to a record high of 80% at the age of 20; thereafter, the rate turned down remarkably. Remaining a steady decline from the age of 28 to the age of 60 and finally the percentages of inmates are lower than 10%.
The pie chart provided the proportions and the categories of different reasons why the prisoners are in the jail in the UK at 2002. The categories divided into 4 types, included violent crimes, property crime, drug crime and public order crime. It is obvious that the highest type was up to 40%, the prisoners of this type are committed of violent offenders. The percentage of the second and the third are convicted of property and drug criminalities at 23% and 22% respectively. The final one was conviction for public order crime at 9%.
