Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you with a compliant regarding the road in our locality at St.Marks. I am a resident of J 1212 and am one of the thirty others occupying the houses along the St.Marks road, which runs parallel to Broad street. It has become increasingly difficult for us to use the road because of the pot-holes as taking out vehicles has become impossible and we are forced to walk down for our daily chores.
The problem started three weeks back when it was raining continuously for two days on 21st and 22nd of June this month. Because of the uneven road, water got accumulated on the road and first sign of holes were visible. Slowly other pot-holes started appearing everywhere within the next 5 days and since then, we are living a nightmare here. I have neighbors who are old and frail and walking on the road in cold is not an option.
I would request you please intervene and get the road fixed at the earliest. Also, would like to suggest you to monitor the quality of work to avoid repetition of the problem. I have attached a few photographs along with the signatures of other residents as well.
Looking forward to an earliest response from you.
Yours faithfully
Anna Smith
