a decline in number of frogs
The reading states that the number of frogs are decreasing due to fact that they are losing their environment as far as they play an important role in protecting human, we should solve the problem and provides three reasons of support. However the professor refutes this point and states that there is some problems in all methods and refutes each of author's reasons.
The reading argues that pesticides that are using in farmland could affect on frogs population in a bad way. The professor refutes this point. Also explain that farmers need pesticide in order to overcome pests and prevent farmlands from damaging by insects, so if farmer do not use pesticides they would lose more crops such as, corn and etc.
