The pie charts illustrates the proportion of water usage by various sectors in Sydney,Australia in 1997 and 2007.
Overall , after 10 years, the most common usage was for food industry and the least was for building industry.While there was a downward trend of food industry, this city saw upward trends of manufacturing and household use.
Looking at the year 1997, the percentage for food industry was 48 percent which was the highest and the second highest belonged to domestic usage with 19 percent . The figures for manufacturing and service industry were not slightly different with 13 and 15 percent respectively.Sydney saw the lowest percentage of water used by building industry with 5 percent.
Moving to 2007,Food industry still remained as the highest data but it dropped by 7 percent .Sydney witnessed a considerable rise in manufacturing with 25 percent and a minimal by 2 percent in household use. There were insignificant reductions in building industry and service industry with from 3 to 4 percent.
