A local college is having an international day. You want to speak about your country to students from different cultures.
Write a letter to the college head. In your letter tell him/her about the topics that you are going to talk about.
Explain why would they be of interest to the students.
Ask about any arrangements that you need to make to give a talk.
Dear Sir/Mam,
I am writing this letter with regard to my speech on our country to students of other cultural background.
I will begin with the enriching history of our nation with a special mention of aesthetic monumental buildings. Then I will briefly talk about geographical structure including flora and fauna. Finally, last and major topic would be the economy: the way forward, that will make the students realize potential of our country in terms of trade and technology.
My talk would resonate well with the current year theme of international day. Students will be mesmerized to see all the talk in a three dimensional presentation. They will be hooked to a special wizard who will pose quiz for them. Also, overall experience will help them in writing their travelogue.
I would be grateful if you would help us in arranging the power backups and wireless mike for a flawless speech. Also, drinking water bottles for our crew would be an added advantage.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Your faithfully
Amit
